My Halloween/party decorations

I fell in love with these spiders I cut from black paper, half had glittered legs and the others had none. I cut 100 including all of the little ones that were on the walls. It has felt very festive in here the past week! Of course we had the traditional streamers and balloons too.

Halloween pictures

Just a peak at the Halloween pictures we had taken on Monday at the picture people. The boys both had colds so they were not so cooperative, hence me in a few of the shots. Good thing I didn't wear gym clothes out that day!

Papa's pumpkin patch

Saturday eve. we visited Aric's parents for dinner, and to explore their garden aka the pupkin patch! The boys loved climbing through the corn, and papa & Grandma's pumpkins were all the perfect size for them to carry home!

I love Halloween, next to Christmas it is my favorite celebration. Since we have had children we have tried to something special for the season, now that they are both at such fun ages we thought it was time we threw a party! (yes 2 weeks early, but we wanted to kick of the holiday early!) I have been working for weeks on invites (I will post them later), decorations, games, food, etc! I love planning that sort of stuff so it has been fun. The night was great, but busy with 8 families with at least 2 kids each. The weather was wonderful so we were able to sneak in some outside time too, helpful to relieve the noise and energy of little kids. I love all my friends, especially there kids!
We decorated buckets that Aric monogrammed with vinyl and they all got to put Halloween foam stickers all over it. We ate nachos for dinner, played outside, decorated sugar cookies, and had a "treasure hunt" in hay in the garage. (they did great with this, and loved the little treasures they found!) We ended with dessert, and I finally let them break out the toys from the closet!
