Pre-Easter egg hunt

Saturday Dad's neighborhood had their easter egg hunt in the green belt. This was the first year we participated as Clayton finally knows what he is doing.... Well sort of. Clayton gathering eggs reminds me of christmas. He wants to open each egg to see what is inside before putting it in his basket. Just like playing with each toy at christmas! So this wouldn't have been such a big deal, if there weren't other kids his age 'compeating' for all the eggs. He finally got the idea that the faster he went the more eggs he got in his basket. Oh boy and thankfully that meant more candy??
Ps: In this picture my dad is sporting sun glasses and hannah is wearing shorts and flip flops, this by no means implies it was warm. We are all very chilly!!

Why doesn't my house clean itself?

It is 10:33 pm both the monsters are fast asleep, it is monday, so Aric has been at school and is now earning the bacon at work. I had 3 choices for my extra curricular activities for the evening: Clean up for the umpteenth time today, do the sink full of dishes for the second time today, or sit-sit-sit and blogg. Yes you know what i chose. Why Must my other choices be so dirty.
Dylan pooped out of his super cute st. Patrick's day bodysuit, thankfully he wore it on Friday to the parade down town, so much for being festive. Clayton had a great day, he was very happy to play with his model airplane that he and grandpa (and his daddy) made last night. He was so patient and waited overnight for the model glue to dry, where was my hot glue gun when i needed it!

Friday March 14th

Friday March 14th, the annual Hough neighborhood st.Patrick's day parade. This was our second year attending with Grandpa Jeffries, at his downtown, as clay calls it. The weather was on the chilly side, so Dylan and I watched from inside the ice cream shop while Aric, Clay and Terry braved the chill outside on the curb.
